Breathing Deeply: Our Commitment to Community

Since our founding in 2011, Salt Air HVAC has been tirelessly committed to outstanding client experience and extraordinary service. We take great pride in offering the best products, superior maintenance packages, and expert technical support. That is our job, and we are passionate about our work. But we are also passionate about our community, serving those that need help, and working to make Wilmington, NC a better place for everyone. Here are some of our community partners that we are honored to serve alongside:

WARM [Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry]

With a mission to repair, rebuild, and make homes accessible for low income families and the elderly, WARM has been inspiring service, generosity, and hope all across the Cape Fear Region since 1996.

And they make a real difference in our area. They’ve inspired the Salt Air team time and again with their care for the less fortunate, and our whole team is honored to partner with their work in a number of ways; as Board members, volunteers, and private donors. If you’re interested in serving or donating to our friends at WARM, we’ve attached a link right here – Donate to WARM!

Additionally, here in July, 2020, we are giving $10 from every Maintenance Membership Plan purchased this month to WARM. So if you needed one more reason to start your HVAC Maintenance plan this summer, there it is!

Another great group in the area, Elderhaus is a Senior Adult day services organization with two locations in the Wilmington area. Elderhaus at the Lake is an adult day services location that provides activities and community for senior adults, while also offering transportation services and medical assistance care for some members. The Elderhaus Pace Program is a program designed as an alternative to nursing home care. Here, adults 55 and older are offered frequent assistance with health screenings, weight management, and nutrition, while being able to stay in their own homes and live their lives surrounded by their own comforts, family, and friends.

Ducks Unlimited – Wilmington

In addition to our love for the people of our local communities, Salt Air is also concerned with maintaining and restoring the wetland areas around the Cape Fear region. And that is where our local chapter of Ducks Unlimited shine the brightest.

Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. With chapters all across the country, they have been protecting wetlands, learning and teaching about indigenous waterfowl and land protection, and lobbying our government over those protections for more than 80 years! And it is this kind of work that helps keep coastal communities like ours so beautiful, healthy, and safe for all kinds of wildlife. If you’re interested in learning more about our local chapter, here’s that link! – Ducks Unlimited Wilmington.

Above All Else – SERVE!

Of course, we would love for each of you to partner with us in supporting each of these terrific organizations, through donations and volunteering. But we understand that we all have unique passions and missions, so if you’re in Wilmington and you want to find somewhere you can serve, learn, or fundraise, the Wilmington Chamber has several resources for you, as does Wilmington Downtown and the Wilmington Business Journal

Whatever you do, join us as we work hard to make our community a better place to live, and our neighborhood a nicer place to breathe easy.
